I can't say whether or not they are truly soundboards for sure. They may be band recorded audience recordings or even some sort of matrices. However, I can tell you that they are, in fact, significantly superior sonically to the existing files for these shows. And the remster of 3/29/68 in particular is extraordinary. The sound quality is the liveliest and most brilliant of the three, and the show really swings...

That is an excellent recommendation. Far as I can tell, this is the first source (at LMA at least) to include the first four soungs: Schoolgirl, Death Don't, Top of the World, and Dark Star. A rather significant contribution, i'd say.

I knew I could count on a response from you Cliff haha! Thanks. I was disappointed that they didn't sound like killer boards like 1-22 or 9-2 but I kind of figured they'd still be an upgrade.

I love that you know the plural form of "matrix." I feel like that's something only other mathematicians know.
